 The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars – How the Jewish Calendar Keeps Us Connected to the Universe

Cost: Members of Ma’yan Tikvah $25-$45; Nonmembers: $35-$55, more if you can, less if you can’t

 

In this introductory, but deeply spiritual and interactive program about the Jewish calendar, Rabbi Katy Allen will provide insight into how the rhythm of the Jewish year keeps us connected to the more-than-human world. Special attention will be paid to the current month of Elul, which precedes Rosh HaShanah.

 

This is the first in set of classes in the series: Twenty-first Century Judaism: 100 Blessings a Day.
