Hadassah Boston will be hosting “Girlfriends Take Heart, A Women’s Heart Health Program” on Wednesday, September 30, at Temple Beth Avodah in Newton Centre. This notable evening will offer an opportunity for women of all ages to learn about heart disease and specifically silent heart attacks and benign symptoms, which are the cause of death for one in three women in the US. Participants will also meet with top heart health professionals and mingle with Hadassah members and friends. The program will feature Dr. Malissa Wood, co-director of the Corrigan Women’s Heart Health Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Also joining Dr. Wood, will be past Hadassah president, Valerie Lowenstein and pediatrician, Dr. Stacey Maslow.
