Topics pertinent to Parkinson's disease patients and their caregivers will be discussed at a free, educational seminar on Sunday, May 22 from 9am-12pm at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. “Taboo Topics in Parkinson’s Disease” will cover financial and legal planning, maintaining intimacy in relationships, and choices around care for those with advanced Parkinson’s. Featured speakers are Patricia C. D’Agostino, JD, senior associate with the law firm Margolis & Bloom; Suki Hanfling, LICSW, Founder and Director at the Institute for Sexuality and Intimacy; and Lauge Sokol-Hessner, MD, Associate Director of Inpatient Quality Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
