When God Looked Down and Wept: In honor of Yom Hashoah, Boston-based Civil Rights Attorney Frederick Thomas Golder will tell the incredible true story of Holocaust survivor Benjamin Sharnofsky. After surviving the concentration camps during WWII, Mr. Sharnofsky emigrated to the U.S. and became a respected school teacher. Ultimately he was unceremoniously fired for being, “too Jewish.” Learn about Mr. Sharnofsky’s physical and spiritual endurance as well as his legal battle against discrimination and for his first amendment right to freedom of religious expression.
