In the few short decades since women have been ordained, women rabbis have transformed Jewish life around the world. During this evening of stories of songs, moderated by Dr. Judith Rosenbaum of the Jewish Women's Archive, we will hear five remarkable rabbis - Sharon Cohen Anisfeld, Angela Warnick Buchdahl, Dianne Cohler-Esses, Laura Geller, and Caludia Kreiman- reflect on their experiences as spiritual guides, scholars, Jewish communal leaders, activists and healers. The event is made possible with support from the Samuel Bronfman Foundation in celebration of Edgar Bronfman's final book, "Why Be Jewish."
