International coaches work with children ages 3-4 years to improve their soccer skills and develop self-confidence at a seven-week soccer class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Classes are offered Sundays beginning January 15 from 9:55-10:40am. Sessions include warm-ups, activities and games, positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio. Cost for seven-week class is $196. Each child receives a free t-shirt. Open to the entire community. Classes also available to children ages 1-2 and 5-7 years, and are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the winter.
