Please join us in a circle of Jewish song and play for parents and young ones as we learn rhythm and melody through Jewish music. During this 4 week class, you and your child will sing, do fingerplays, dance, and play instruments, all while familiarizing yourself with songs from the Jewish cultural and ritual repertoire! Classes are designed for children age 0-3, with each child participating at their own level and in their own developmentally appropriate way. All are most welcome, regardless of religious or synagogue background or practice. This class is meant to be a joyful bridge into engagement with Jewish culture and community. Registration includes weekly gatherings as well as access to music recordings and a song book. By the end of the series, families will learn several songs that are part of Jewish cultural and religious experience. No knowledge of Hebrew/Yiddish/Ladino/Spanish/Arabic/Russian/Amharic needed. We will all learn together. All are welcome.
