Two award-winning authors, Tova Mirvis (Visible City) and Jennifer Gilmore (The Mothers), will discuss their latest novels at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Tuesday, April 8 at 7:30pm.
Newton resident Tova Mirvis is the author of The Outside World and The Ladies Auxiliary, a national bestseller. Her essays have appeared in various anthologies and newspapers, and her fiction has been broadcast on National Public Radio.
Jennifer Gilmore is the author of Golden Country (finalist for National Jewish Book Award) and Something Red. Her work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The New Your Times, Salon, Self and Vogue.
