Intensive Yiddish learning weekend for Intermediate and Advanced Students

Join teachers Dr. Sheva Zucker and Lillian Leavitt, in conjunction with the Workmen's Circle, for a total Yiddish immersion learning experience, including: conversation, readings from Yiddish literature, grammar instruction and a concert.  Tentative readings include stories by Sholem Aleichem, Rokhl Faygenberg, Yechiel Shraybman, Tsvi Eisenman, poetry by Itzik Manger and others

Tuition: $285 tuition (Friday to Monday) or $230 (Friday to Sunday) includes classes, concert and several meals.  Classes will be held in Newton Centre. For more detailed information and registration email sczucker@aol.com. Registration deadline September 19, 2014. 

 The Workmen’s Circle is a multigenerational community, as well as an arts and culture center, where Jewish identity is rooted in cultural heritage and the pursuit of a better world.  Other Yiddish offerings include Yiddish classes (beginning Sept. 30), conversation groups, a monthly Yiddish sing, a Yiddish community chorus, Klezmer jams, and more!
