Throughout the Passover week, we'll be joined by Rabbi Levi Weiman-Kelman. Visiting from Jerusalem, where he founded and has led the city's first progressive shul for 30 years, Congregation Kol Haneshama, he was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
During chol ha'moed Pesach (the intermediate days of Passover), we'll have Passover Restaurant dinners at Temple Israel and each evening will offer different activities:
--Monday, April 6 will feature a screening of the documentary Fringes, which follows the files of three Jewish families in disparate parts of the world, followed by discussion with the director, Paula Weiman-Kelman;
--Tuesday, April 7 will feature a song learn and swap led by Rabbi Weiman-Kelman;
--and Wednesday, April 8 will feature a study and discussion with Rabbi Weiman-Kelman.
