TEMPLE BETH AM OF RANDOLPH INVITES YOU TO OUR
SPRING SHABBAT SAMPLER; APRIL 24TH & 25TH
Temple Beth Am, 871 North Main Street in Randolph, in conjunction with Ahavath Torah Congregation of Stoughton and Temple Beth Emunah of Brockton, will offer varied opportunities to celebrate Shabbat together. Friday evening, April 24th, a choir-enhanced service at 7:30 P.M, followed by a festive Oneg (dessert reception). Saturday, April 25th, coffee at 9:00 A.M, Shabbat morning service, led by Rabbi David Grossman, Rabbi Jonathan Hausman and Rabbi Ilana Foss, in the Sanctuary at 9:15 with accompaniment by singer- musician Sue Horowitz whose tunes range from lyrical to bluesy, and her engaging presence and spiritual music captivates worshippers and audiences of all ages. At 10:00 AM, there will be three choices: Traditional Torah service; The Six-Day War-A Soldier’s Story with Ian Sher, M.ED, an educator for over 20 years, raised in Dublin and served in the Israeli Paratrooper Corps; My Sephardi Roots by Professor Abraham Abadi, PhD, born and raised as a Sephardic Jew, faculty member of Lesley University who specializes in philosophy and education. At 10:45 we return as a community to the Sanctuary for the remainder of the service. Following services, a delicious Kiddush luncheon, after which you are invited to a Torah study session lasting until 1:00 PM. For more information please call the temple office at 781-963-0440
