Ever wondered what makes a kosher wine "kosher?" Do you have a secret desire to be able to throw around terms like "nose," "bouquet," and "finish" at your next fancy cocktail party?
Then join Havurah on the Hill this Friday, July 17 as we delve into the wonderful world of wines for a fun, informational, and interactive kosher wine tasting. And this ain't your mamma's Manischewitz either. Local kosher wine guru Dan Sigel will be on hand to guide you and supply you with all the info (and vino) you need for your next totally excellent social gathering.
The fun starts, as always, at 6:30pm with light snacks and conversation, followed by our egalitarian, non-denominational Kabbalat Shabbat service and a kosher buffet dinner.
New faces are always welcome at Havurah on the Hill, so be sure to bring your friends for a fun-filled evening.

Havurah on the Hill is a non-denominational, egalitarian minyan for Jews in their 20s and 30s in the Boston area. HOH meets at the Vilna Shul in Beacon Hill, one of the last remaining synagogues from the early 20th century wave of Jewish immigration and hosts monthly Kabbalat Shabbat services as well as other special holiday celebrations throughout the year.
