Participants will meet in the parking lot at the Nobscot Scout Reservation at 9:45 am, where the experience of the High Holidays will begin with the short hike to the cabin. All are welcome to attend, and there will be time for people to get acquainted built into the morning. There will also be time to sing, time to appreciate the natural world around us, time to meditate and pray, time to read from the Torah and discuss the reading, and on Rosh HasShanah, time to hear the sound of the shofar reverberating through the woods. Weather permitting, services will be outdoors in the woods and on the porch of the cabin. After the service on Rosh HaShanah there will be a potluck dairy lunch and then tashlich. Families with children are welcome. Due to the insurance requirements of the Scout Reservation, advance registration is required by September 28 for Rosh HaShanah and by October 7 for Yom Kippur.
