GIRLS AGES 11 - 13: The Bat Mitzvah Discovery Course and Club
THE BAT MITZVAH DISCOVERY COURSE
will meet on Sunday's, immediately following Hebrew School from 12:15-1:15pm. It will cover a lot of important topics in a Jewish Girl's life and give her both an organized, as well as thorough understanding of many Mitzvot, basic Jewish ideas and an understanding of women in Jewish Life.
THE BAT MITZVAH CLUB
will meet once a month, on a Sunday during the school year in place of the Discovery Course- it will include: food, fun & activities that cover concepts such as understanding why a Bat Mitzvah is more than just a party, focus on Mitzvot more specific to Jewish women and give the girls the opportunity get to know their Jewish self through art, creative writing and community service.
Cost:
Discovery course (17 classes) and the Club (9 club meetings): $600
Only the Club (9 meetings): $250 for Chabad Hebrew School Students
$300 for Non Chabad Hebrew School Students
