SHABBAT ACROSS AMERICA AT TEMPLE EMMANUEL in WAKEFIELD... MARCH 5TH

Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield invites members and non-members to celebrate the14th Annual Shabbat Across America.  On Friday, March 5th, tens of thousands of Jews across America and Canada will come together to eat, drink, relax,  enjoy Shabbat together.   Hundreds of synagogues will take part in this wonderous historic national Jewish event to celebrate what unifies all Jews...Shabbat!   Everyone is invited...singles, couples, and families.    

Dinner will be served at 6:30 in the social hall with 8:00 Shabbat service, led by Rabbi Mark Newton,  followed by a traditional Oneg Shabbat. 
There will be no charge for the dinner, but reservations must be made by March 1 by calling 781-935-3787.   

The event across the continent is organized by the National Jewish Outreach Program.  It is the first and only program aimed at uniting Jews of all Jewish denominationsand the unaffiliated through one single yearly event.  

Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield is over 60 years old  featuring egalitarian Shabbat and holiday services, book clubs, concerts, and speaker programs, as well as a library and gift shop.  Members gather from many North Shore communities such as Wakefield, Melrose, Reading, Stoneham, Woburn, Wilmington, Burlington, Lynnfield, Bedford, and Billerica.  The Temple welcomes interfaith families to services, educational programing, and social events.
